We're looking for a Flash Architect to join the Lolapps team. You will own the architecture of our Flash platform for our up-and-coming and existing games which are played by millions of users every day.
You’ll get to:
•Build rock-solid library and platform-level code to be used across products
•Improve performance and solve the tough bugs on the platform by architecting robust solutions
•Lead the company on Flash-related technical issues
•Act as the Flash Guru for junior engineers and work toward taking on management responsibility
•Have a point of view on the product and be willing to debate it
Ideally, you:
•Desire and have the ability to quickly learn new languages and technologies
•Have god-like skills in Flash development (Actionscript, CPU / memory optimization, Javascript / Flash bridging, Cross-browser compatibility)
•Are detail-oriented: when someone sends you an email about something it auto-magically gets handled with no need for a follow-up
•Are interested in working in the social games space
•Are comfortable working in an environment where ideas are thought of, described, and executed within a span of hours to days
•Write software for fun. You've worked on projects of your own outside of school or work
•Are entrepreneurial

About us:
• We're a scrappy startup in the social game space with 50 million unique users a month.
• Our belief is that social gaming represents a massive opportunity to bring gaming to the mainstream. People should ask, "what kind of games do you play?" not, "are you a gamer?"
• Our cash flow history is mostly positive, which makes us pretty much the opposite of your typical echo chamber Silicon Valley startups.
• We raised $4m in an A round with Polaris Ventures and value-add angels including Ron Conway and Ariel Poler.
• We're only 35 people. You can make a MASSIVE impact here.
• Our office is in San Francisco located in the heart of SOMA.
• We have all the typical startup stuff (free food, Rock Band, great city views, etc). Check out our office: http://www.flickr.com/photos/lolapps/
• Free yoga classes at the office
