Flash Game Engineer

Responsibilities:

Lead the Flash client implementation
Ensure the game runs beautifully and smoothly even on minimum spec machines
Work closely with systems engineers to ensure efficient client/server communication
Work collaboratively with designers and artists to bring the game to life
Produce and maintain technical plans
Help define, establish and enforce best practices for the team
Mentor junior engineers

Key Requirements:

5+ years of game development experience or interactive multimedia design
Flash/AS3 mastery with strong Javascript, Java or C++ experience

Experience developing in Client / Server architectures
Passion for working on high quality games and the portfolio to prove it
Computer Science Degree preferred

Pluses:

Solid html knowledge and explorations into HTML5
Development of hit games on New Grounds, Kongregate, Armor Games or similar Flash portals
Development of iPhone/iPad games
Development of social network games
